Today, PKFL and the Association of State Drinking Water Administrators published a white paper offering comprehensive guidance on how certified lead-reducing filter programs can protect households during and after lead service line replacement while supporting compliance with EPA's Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI).

PKFL advocates for long-term investments in lead service line replacement, but infrastructure changes take time. There is no safe amount of lead consumption, and families need protection now.
